“Take the road less traveled” is my motto and favorite quote, and I have throughout my personal and professional life, take that road.

I am a professionally trained commercial interior designer with over 9 years of experience, and my curiosity and adventurous spirit led me through an unusual career path. My passion for problem-solving and discovery led me to an early career in journalism, it was through an interest in history that I discovered architecture, and a purpose in creating an impact on each individual's life that I found a calling in Commercial Interior Design.

Through working internationally right after school, experiencing the industry from a furniture dealer’s perspective; joining a firm that is starting their Los Angeles office and working in a multi-language environment, to becoming the youngest Asian American IIDA Chapter President, I have taken many calculated risks and opportunities along the way and discovered my personal Why, What and How.

I am aspired to design and create a positive impact on the built environment, through connecting and cultivating relationships, an endless drive for knowledge and growth; advocating for healthy, sustainable, and equitable spaces; and celebrating the diverse and creative minds that impact the design industry.
